Our Personal story

Because we started out as sensitive to:
  • medications ourselves and
  • to people's pain & suffering
we began searching for products that were:
  • beyond a "band-aid" that merely covered up pain
AND
  • could also train the body to repair itself! 
 
This tall order came answered in the form of finding RichWay products.  They became the solution to our own personal 'health care.' 
   In 2006, Jocelyne Colombe RN, Nurse Practitioner co-founded Universal BioMat with Jeff Behr PhD to bring RichWay products into people's hands for home and professional use to improve their quality of life & speed up the healing process. 
  Jocelyne has over 30 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner and both founders are known in the field of Energy Medicine.  Together Jocelyne & Jeff have built a team of practitioners to spread the word of a BIOMAT LIFESTYLE worldwide. 

We chose the name Universal BioMat  because we felt the BioMat has a broad-range universal appeal; we felt that essentially anyone and everyone could use a BioMat for one reason or another; at home for themselves or family members, along with their pets and even in  professional settings to assist in health recovery.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We strongly support the idea of self-care and self-healing.  We prefer transformational aids like the BioMat for people because they promote using the internal wisdom of the human body to address health issues. 


We feel that the BioMat encourages the many levels of the body's consciousness to find its own  ‘homeostasis’.  When the body, mind & emotions allow us to be in a balanced and safe environment, we intrinsically  ‘know’ how to heal ourselves. 

By allowing ourselves to relax into a place of ‘safety’, we then tap into the inherent wisdom of the mind & body; we access our inner knowing.

The BioMat helps us get to that point.
